Collections are at the heart of every library. This lightning talk centers how we care for, exhibit, intervene in, and welcome in audiences for our collections. Presentation topics include: planning and implementation of off-site storage programs; sharing best practices for and critically examining physical and digital library exhibitions; preserving film-based collections of the built environment and cultural heritage; introducing resources for collections disaster planning, mitigation, response, and recovery; and exploring how alternative publications can be activated in instruction sessions and programming events. Join us for an exciting, decidedly collections-based, conversation!
