About me
Giana Ricci is the Librarian for the Fine Arts and Head of the Arts, Performance, and Humanistic Inquiry Department at New York University (NYU) Libraries. She has an MLS from Long Island University and an MA in Art History from NYU's Institute of Fine Arts. She has previously worked at the Frick Art Reference Library and the Brooklyn Museum Libraries and Archives. Giana has served as Chair of the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) New York Chapter and currently serves as co-editor of the ARLIS/NA Notable Graphic Novels Review. Her research focuses on student artists and the academic library.
