About me
Currently, Jackie is the Descriptive Data Management Librarian at the Smithsonian Libraries. Previously worked in academic and research institutions, including Georgia State University Law Library, University of Virginia Library, University of Michigan Library and the George Washington University Libraries. Over the years, she has been involved in library metadata projects related to the Web, e.g., TEI , OCLC’s InerCat (Internet Cataloging) and CORC (Co-operative Online Resource Catalog (CORC) projects. Several ALCTS and PCC Task Groups (URIs in MARC, Metadata for Application Profiles, MARC Simplification for BF Conversion, and Enhancing Metadata and Practices in MARC Bibliographic Records).
