About me
Ruth Thomas is a Special Collections Research Librarian with specialties in arts research and cultural heritage preservation. In addition to their role as head librarian of the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center's Library & Archives, they are a review editor for Openings: Studies in Book Art, the peer-reviewed journal of the College Book Art Association. Their own research is centered around the book arts, printmaking, and puppet theatre in northern Eurasian and North American Indigenous art. They are riso-curious, recently learning and practicing printmaking at Risolana in Albuquerque, NM.
